This policy covers aibirthdaysong.com, run by Birthday Song AI. It is short because the product collects very little.
What we collect
- What you type into the wizard: the birthday person's first name, an optional pronunciation, your relationship, a musical style, one personal detail, and a vocal preference.
- The generated song: lyrics, audio files, cover art, and a share token.
- Technical data: a hashed IP address used only for rate limiting (we never store the raw IP), the country Cloudflare reports on the request edge, and basic request logs.
- Payment data: handled by our payment provider. We receive a transaction ID and the package you bought, never your card number.
How it is used
The name and detail are sent to a language-model provider to write lyrics, then the lyrics go to a music-generation provider to record the track. Audio is mirrored to our storage. Nothing is used to train models by us. We do not sell data, and we do not build advertising profiles.
How long we keep it
Songs, lyrics, and audio are kept for 30 days from creation, then deleted automatically. Rate-limit counters expire within 24 hours. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Cookies
One functional cookie remembers the country used for regional pricing. Analytics is privacy-friendly and aggregate; it does not follow you across sites. There is no ad pixel.
Your choices
Because there is no account, we cannot look up a song from an email. If you still have the share link, email help@aibirthdaysong.com with it and we will delete the song early. You can also use the site without giving a real name — a nickname works.
Children
The service is not directed at children under 13. A song for a child should be made by an adult.
Processors
Cloudflare (hosting, storage, edge), OpenRouter (language model routing), KIE (music generation), and our payment provider. Each processes only the data needed for its step.
